  • ICS CXP Slow down then stop

I have a problem with an ICS CXP.

Mid-way through the first game on Sunday, it started to behave like the battery was flat.
i.e. reduced rated of fire, lock-ups and then suddenly stopped entirely.

There was, however, nothing wrong with the battery - It was charged the night before, and when I tried it in another gun it was fine. I then used it in that other gun for the rest of the day.

    The battery is a 7.4V, 2600mAh, 20C LiPo.

    Any ideas?
I've not opened it up yet, but I'm thinking dirty/burnt trigger switch contacts.
I'll probably be putting in a MOSFET when I open it up.

Sounds like the motor might have over heated?

I had the same problem with my M4 and it was because the contacts were burnt. Cleaning them didnt help so I had to get a new switch.

No. It's had several thousand rounds through it.

            That's my current thought.
