Question for Classic Army CA53 owners

Anyone who owns a classic army CA53, are you able to tell me the length of the handguard? Is it 160mm?

pretty certain its the same size as an mp5 as i took mine off and put it on one, not home so can't measure to tell you exact size

The standard CA53 handguard is shorter than an mp5 handguard as for some reason CA dcided to use a shorter receiver for the 53 than they used for the 33. The one you have Pete if its the one I sold you was made with a 33 receiver so will accept MP5 handguards. If you want the slightly longer handguard just like the real HK53 one then the only option is to buy from the US. I've been trying to get one for a while but US companies dont like to ship to the UK. Eagledriver on here has a 53 with propper handgard and can be seen here.

Yes it's the same one that was on when you sold it to me, I just wanted to close the gap between the end of the handguard and the mag housing a little as it bugs me!

Found a site that sells the 53 handguard a, but out of stock, and like you stay probably won't ship here anyway!

Trying to find them myself, spotted this:

Unfortunately, it's a US site so may be awkward about shipping to UK

Also, I'm guessing you've converted CA33s to 53's in the past; I'm looking to do the same thing as the stock CA53 looks too short to me. Any advice with lengths/parts would be appreciated!
