Can you identify this marking?
13 February, 2013, 21:20
Hi all
Ive had an AK for several years now and ive completely forgotten who manufactured it!
I cant find anything on the gun apart from a logo of sorts and a serial number.
If anyone knows if this is a markers mark or just something random please let me know
Thanks

If you cant see it properly its like an arrow pointing upwards inside a triangle

"arrow in triangle mark" (Izhevsk factory)
Russia
(arrow pointing upwards to the top point of triangle)
seen on Russian red/orange and dark plum (commonly referred to as black) synthetic 30 rnd AK74 (5.45x39) mags.
Apparently.
Problems? Problems? There is no problem I cannot solve with this...

Re: Can you identify this marking?
Its also on the rifle itself and the mag is a hicap mag so was just wondering if there was any other significance?

Re: Can you identify this marking?
They make real AKs and mags, so it's just like having H&K markings on a MP5 for example

Re: Can you identify this marking?
Slightly off topic (and I appologise) does an MP5 have any trademarks on it?

Re: Can you identify this marking?
On the real version yes. On airsoft versions it's all dependant on maker. The real version has trademarks on it's upper and lower receiver
