Ics hop question

I'm using a pro arms l118a1 barrel on my Ics m4 and think it's trapping my hop.

I had it out earlier and filed it down to stop it sticking, but I'm not sure it's moving enought still.

How much play should there be on the hop once the upper gearbox is in?, there's basically nothing on my rifle.

When it's all together and I look down the mag well, it all looks right and it feeds right, but I'm worried the air nozzles going to trash my new hop.

Couple of mm max! check it'll move freely without the top half of the gbox in. the c clip can also jam the hop unit in place if it isnt flush.

Yeah it moves freely till the upper gearbox is in, I guess it's fine it's I just wants sure how the new pro arms barrel was effecting the clearance.
