Lowering FPS on AEG
16 February, 2010, 22:40
Hello,
How do you lower the fps of an AEG. The gun in question is a CYMA MP5. I need to lower the fps so it is within my sites limits, any ideas?

New, lower powered spring. Or clip a couple of loops off your current one.
One's cheaper, one's more reliable.

Tanio Koba Twist barrel? That'll lower the FPS and increase range

Thanks for the quick replies, I look in to getting another spring. I'll have a look at those Tanio Koba Twist barrels, they sound good.

A new spring is the sensible answer....
M100 will do nicely and it is only about £10. Your local site will probably have somebody there willing to fit it

Yeah, I am going skirmishing this Sunday so I could get a spring and maybe sort it out there.

I doubt they'll actually do it for you at the skirmish. Small parts being lost and that. But It depends on what site you play at I suppose.
