ICS M4 stock swapover question....

Ok , not so much an internals question but a cosmetic.

I'm getting an ICS M4 tomorrow , it's the full stock version with battery stored in the void of the stock.
Now , what I would like to do is swap over the stock for a Vltor battery stock that I have here. I have the Vltor and a stock tube too.

Is this a viable swap ? or is it going to cost me an arm and a leg for special parts to be able to swap them over ?

Has anyone attempted similar ?

I'm not worried about the wiring as I have crane stock batteries that already fit nicely into the Vltor.
