How does one remove the front sight assembly on a Mp5?

remove the sling loop and sometimes there is a small grub screw under the sight

Does the sling loop just pull out? Seems to be screwed on one end but rectangular shaped on the other so turning it is not possible :/

sorry had to go work , its a little nut on the end this needs to come off and then the rest will slide out
