Best Battery size for AGM SCAR and JG G36
22 March, 2009, 20:26
Hi Guys,
Have just purchased an AGM SCAR and a JG G36C.
Can anyone advise the best size of battery V and Mah for them both as my boys do rather spray and pray and I want to make sure they can last a whole day of skirmish and also keen to give them the max ROF from both stock rifles without overstressing the internals.
Many thanks
Andy

The G36 is the same, mini only.
Best bet is get a battery sling. So then you have a large battery on the sling itself, and it plugs into the gun. That was you can run a 3300mah 9.6v beast. Which will last all day, and spread a hail of white pellets in the direction of everyone!

AGM don't do a scar. If it's dboys then Like it was said a 1400mah 9.6 is the best you can do without going LiPo. If it's JLS then you can use a 9.6 stick or PEQ battery box.
As for the '36 get the large foregrip and slap in a big ol' 9.6

Re: Best Battery size for AGM SCAR and JG G36
Thanks for replys guys. I managed to fit a 9.6v 1500maH battery into the SCAR by unclipping the top pivoty bit of the buttstock and grinding away enough of the top of the stock so the slightly longer battery would fit and it works VERY well and is unseen once the top pivoty bit is snapped back into place. The butt can very nearly compress fully too. The G36 I now see what you guys mean as the space for the battery is defined by the lugs. I guess I could have ground those off too maybe, but I have decided to simply get an extra standard mini battery for him so he can just swap over at lunchtime at the skirmish.
Many thanks for all your help.
Andy
