hop up rubber keeps breaking

hey i need some help i bought a second hand vfc hk416 and its not feeding and the hop up rubber the back of it keeps coming off and making a blockage if somone could give some advise that would be great thank you.

how and what did you do?? also could try a slighltly softer nub

Well I bought the gun sexing hand and the had bought a new flash hider the when screwed on properly it pushed against the inner barrel not allowing the hop unit to be in the right place and not feeding and putting tension on the hop rubber so I've taken off the flash hider and its all shooting lovely now.
