  • Gearbox/Motor Wire

    Hi,

Just a quick question. What is the wire that runs from the gearbox to the motor. I need some replacement, but not sure what I need.

    Thanks

    James

I've got some of that, which is for the battery.

I was not convinced it would be thin enough to get inside the GB, and in the handgrip down to the motor?

      What you think?

ah, I see what you mean. For the inside of a v2 box you're probably looking at 20 awg

Its 18 Gauge, but not silicone insulated, at least not for TM. Basically fit what you can, the thicker/lower resistance the better.

may i just say though..there is no point spending lots of money on 16awg wiring only to put 18awg in the handgrip :P

                    Re: Gearbox/Motor Wire

not when the resistance on the motor wire is un-doing all the benefit of the low resistance wire....:D:D

Dragging this one up from the depths...

But still not got a clear answer. It has been suggested to me for the wire required in the handgrip to the motor I need what ********* **** call "3-way servo wire" is this correct?
