Star l85 hop rubber

Hey guys , recently fitted a systema tightbore barrel to my star l85a2 and purchased a tm hop rubber to do aswell, however the old hop rubber appeared to have some sort of glue around it which was sealing it in. I lost around 70 fps by replacing the hop rubber as there's loads of play with the tm one. Tried putting electrical tape around it and it actually fits in with 2 layers of tape but it's still not tight enough as it's still 40 fps lower than before

does anyone have advice on what hop rubber I should try, I was thinking a guarder blue as there quite chunky but is there an either thicker one available?
Any advice is would be fantastic
