Could someone please tell me how to remove the front barrel off my new ICS-22 (M4A1 RIS) as i'd like to fit a silencer but can't seem to fugure it out.

    Pics would be great too,
    Thanks - Coolfish

You don't have to remove the barrel if you want to put a silencer. Just undo the flash hider (undo the locking screw underneath first) and it will reveal a 14mm anti-clockwise thread for your silencer.

But what if i wanted the silencer to almost 'replace' the barrel from the sight onwards?

        Re: ICS Barrel

Ahh, like what I did. I'll try to upload some pics tomorrow for you.

Basically, the ICS-22 outer barrel splits into 2. Remove the RIS first. Once presented with the outer barrel, undo the 3 locking screws on the front half of the outer barrel then you can unscrew the front half off (together with the front sight).

You will need an adaptor to hold the other end of the ris (since you removed the front sight/ ris ring). You can get one from zeroone, I couldn't find the one I used for my ICS but it's almost similar to this product code: LXSASM4. This adaptor will screw in on the other half of the outer barrel and you can fit directly the silencer to it.

          Re: ICS Barrel

If you search "ICS M4 CQC RIFLE" on zeroone's website, the pictures at the bottom is the adaptor I'm talking about.

Thanks pyro, big help! Have you got any pics? I see that code is for a Kings arms part, how did you do it specifically for your ICS?

              Re: ICS Barrel

Here you go CJ, before and after pics:

I think it's best if you just ring Zeroone and ask for the adaptor they use for the M4 CQC rifle as it's not listed on their site. This adaptor just srews in directly to the rear half of the outer barrel.

              Hope this helps.
