CYMA Glock Upgrade Kit?
16 September, 2013, 17:47
Hi,
I was thinking about picking up a CYMA Glock and fitting it with a Carbine Conversion kit, but I'd like it to be somewhat reliable and accurate.
Does anyone know where I can get an upgrade kit? I've seen that Nineball do a lot of upgrade parts, and I know they do a kit but I can't find it. Any other brands of upgrade kits would be great too.
Thanks!

p.s. Any advice is very welcome as I'm not that knowledgable when it comes to AEG/AEP's

Re: CYMA Glock Upgrade Kit?
i have upgraded mine with nine ball parts and the gearbox internals are all compatible however the hop rubber and barrel are a little different if i remember correctly and to replace one you have to replace them both or fiddle about, i think its the alignment groove in the barrel for the hop rubber is on top rather than underneath .the blue hop rubber from nine ball was too hard as well and the adjuster broke under the strain .to be honest the spring and a lipo conversion is all you need do to them, other than that just wait till something breaks.

Re: CYMA Glock Upgrade Kit?
Thanks. To be honest, I'm not too worried about rounds per second, so as long as the battery holds up for a decent amount of time, then I'm good without a lipo. I really just want better accuracy first and foremost...
So I can swap out the barrel, and put in a bucking. I'm assuming it's a VSR type bucking (I'll get a soft one)? Would I encounter any issues running a longer inner barrel? It would go into a silencer or extension.
Thanks again

Re: CYMA Glock Upgrade Kit?
the lipo conversion gives a far faster trigger response, its one of the things that really is awful on aep glocks they take a long time to wind up to a shot and the lipo solves that ,it also ups the rof but thats not the reason for doing it, i think the hop rubber is a special one for the glock but i could be wrong it is a lot like a vsr one i've never had them side by side though. the longer barrel could be a problem as the top slide lifts at the rear to remove ,the outer barrel is part of the top slide and it might foul on a longer barrel but i'm sure a little tweaking would get around that say if the fake silencer was hollow it would allow space for the barrel when it tipped down at the front if you follow me.

Ok, thanks again. Great info. Will deff be doing the conversion! Just going to try and find a decent TB and bucking and I'll be happy!
