TM AUG A2 gearbox...

Is the gearbox in this gun a standard version 3? And does anyone have any advice on what needs changing and what can stay stock when upgrading to 340-350 fps. I'm assuming obviously the spring, piston, and motor straight away, perhaps cylinder head and cylinder eventually and the gears if they wear/brake.

AFAIK is all standard v3 except the trigger mech, not really a factor when modifying the internals, just a PITA when the contacts were out

Yes its a standard V3 shell, the nozzle, trigger/external switch, stopper rail and motor cage is specific to the AUG, but all other parts are interchangeable.
