HurricanE SR47 hop issues
28 October, 2013, 14:09
Hi,
The SR47 is running and shooting.
BUT! It is not shooting very well.
The hop units on these things are terrible and dont feed properly and have appalling air seal.
I have tried 7 different buckings at this point and so far the only way to get it to shoot is to cut the feed lip from the bucking.
This solves the feeding issue and every BB feeds, but as the airseal has been removed power drops by 100 fps and the bbs have an odd flight path to them.
Please advise

Re: HurricanE SR47 hop issues
Next step might be to try some different air nozzles yourself or as its a nice unique and quite expensive piece of kit send it off to a repair shop who's able to tinker with it and will have spares lying around to trial
Oh and try a different tight bore barrel

Hi jonglow,
It's actually with the airsmith, he thinks it's a dud hop unit, but as it's not generic, can't test that theory, hoping someone with a working one can give me an insight
