White spirit, even meths or alcohol will thin the paint and allow you to remove it. Just apply some to a cloth, and wipe over.

Bit strong, might take off the original gun paint?

They apply that quite thick. A little bit of white spirit on a cloth should give you enough control to remove it without any adverse effects. Be at the ready with a sponge or kitchen roll if you're worried.

They should. If the surface of the gun is glossy enough, you could probably chip it off. Although I'd stick with the nail varnish remover method.

ok thanks il have another go tomorrow : )

its a full metal body as well if that helps

so il put some white spirit or nail varnish remover on some tissue and the just wipe over the bits where i dont want it.

that how i should do it?
                      thanks

Well, yeah. But don't expect it to come off instantly. It'll take some work. Nail varnish remover usually comes with a brush. So paint it on the acrylic. Leave it for a bit, and then wipe it off.

Acrylic paint thinners should shift it.

yep, you need acrylic thinners if its dried, its water based, normal thinners ect wont work, they are for oil based paints
