Ares/Umarex G36 Gear Box Version?

Hi guys
I have a Umarex G36 which i already know doing research is made by Ares and repackaged by Umarex!

I am at a stage where my full upgrade plan is ready but before i go start buying the parts i want to find out which gearbox/gear versions this gun uses. im guessing a version 3 like most g36's but having the blow back function on this gun is it more like the Tokyo Marui one that is a version 9 gearbox?


i have searched the web high and low for as long as i can stand looking for the answer but no joy!

so over to you guys!

its a proprietary V3 gearbox. the version only refers to the shape. it'll take a V3 gearset and the like, but there are a lot of ARES specific parts it uses.

afraid not mate, never done more than look at the outside of the gearbox.

piston/piston head , gearset , cylinder and cylinder head , nozzle , tappet plate , AR latch , cut off , bearing and bushing , motor , motor frame , trigger can all be swapped only parts you cant are the spring guide ( can mod some v3 guides to fit ) selector plate . ( might be missing something lol )

i was thinking that JJ had done work on them but i wasn't sure haha.
