TM Sopmod Recoil - Missing Trigger Locking Pin

Hi All,

Came back from a day of airsoft and noticed my TM recoil trigger locking pin is missing.
Do I need to get this fixed asap and not airsoft again until I do?
Just wondering what the pin actually does and how important it is.

Also, recommendations for a better part (if there is one) would be appreciated (if allowed on forum).

I would get it fixed before the next game day.

I believe it's freedom art who do it, but they sell a pin that screws together at both ends so it doesn't slide out like yours did
