  • Piston not releasing

    Hi guys.
So I put a new bearing spring guide on my v2 gearbox.
I test fired it, jammed in my (still faulty) hop up, I fired two shots. The third shots nothing happened, I ripped it apart (not literally lol), to see that the piston hasn't released, it was only half way back. Any way of fixing this without me splitting open the gearbox?

    Re: Piston not releasing

Try shimmying a screwdriver in to release the anti reversal latch.
Won't fix the problem but will release the piston.
Sounds like too much tension for the system to handle, possibly caused by the new spring guide.

      Re: Piston not releasing

Everything else is new - gears, piston, piston head, nozzle, spring guide
Spring is still in it's crappy old state
I've had a go at shoving a screwdriver down there *sexual reference*
Can't seem to release it, seems slightly stiff in there.
I'm charging my 9.6 to see if I can get any luck..

Ah, problem solved for now, a 2 hour charged 9.6v did the trick. The new spring guide seems to be adding a little power bump, which is always good. Could do with a new motor for an m120, though.
Hope this helped for anyone else with this problem.
