    A&K M249/MK46 more range upgrades

    Hi Guys,
    I have this machine gun http://akairsoft.com/mk46-RS.html and I wanted to get some more range from it I know it is support weapon but I still want more range lol, my toptech m4 beats it every time so I want to upgrade it.
    I have M249 6.03 tightbore barrel in it and uprated hopup rubber (not sure what brand are these) everything else is standard, yesterday we chronoed it and it was shooting about 280fps, when I tried M120 spring in it in November last year it was shooting 370-402fps so I could not use it
    Can you advise what parts I should upgrade for it to have more range and to be around 360fps (not going above 370) on 0.2bb and what bb's I should use to get range then?
    My hop is currently almost on maximum.

    Do the biro mod on it. The stock bucking in a&k M249s just aren't big enough to effect the BB. Switch that out and your problem will be sorted.

          It might even be worth replacing the hop unit for the CA version.

            Now I started to look lol, will do biro and G hop mod when I get home.
            What about springs, are all springs the same? I mean if m4 and m249 spring is the same size?


            As spring in 249 can be replaced in a minute wearing gloves, I could have 4 different springs for different weather conditions and just change them if it will be too hot.. or I am going wrong way here?

              Always used regular AEG springs in mine. As you say, swapping them out takes minutes.

                  For future reference, the internals are version 2 and the nozzle is an M16a2 nozzle (not m4 or m16a1/a4)
