Bore up kit

Hi Guys i was wondering of it is worth fitting a bore up kit in PDW ?
or what is it actually meant to do ?
Please explain in potato head terms lol

Only really worth fitting if you have an exeptionaly long barrel to push the extra air volume through .ie rs dragunov , h bar aug with extended barrel etc . Otherwise its not really a cost effective upgrade ..I use one in my tm phantom aug As it enables me to use a weaker spring to get the same fps as if I used a stronger spring and smaller piston . Which in turn gives me a faster rate of fire than a strong spring set up . . I do have a very long barrel on this gun , nearly as long as an svd .
