Loud crack when firing.
12 February, 2014, 14:38
I've recently stripped down my king arms m16 dmr to check for wear and tear and after re-assembling the gun seems very loud. Compared to my ics m4 its deafening. Mods are: ascu v2 MOSFET, shs piston shs alloy piston head, shs cnc gears and high torque motor. You don't hear the motor sound like on the ics which has a crisp, relatively quiet noise. The king arms is an almighty crack.

Re: Loud crack when firing.
Perhaps the installation of a sorbothane pad would be of help? This effectively dampens the sound of the piston and cylinder whacking together. :P It may just be that this new piston head is making more noise than your last one. Just a thought!

Re: Loud crack when firing.
Nice one. At the min it's still the standard spring (m110 I believe) il try a silicone buffer on the cylinder head (like sorbo but much better). Thanks for the advice.
