Marui quality control
27 March, 2010, 23:05
Hello,
I'm replacing one set of Marui gears with another (they were worn) and I was wondering if it's ok to keep the stock shimming pattern from the original gears or whether will I need to re-shim.
Thanks in advance lads

I would re-shim just to be on the safe side.

Indeed, reshim. TM are very good quality control, but you never know if those gears have been made to exacting tolerances, had they been CNCd Id say you would get away with it, but they are molded normally.
