Which receiver is the right receiver?
15 March, 2014, 17:39
Hi Guys,
Looking at doing a bit of a Diemaco project build I figured I'd start with the G&G GC7a1 (M16 length variant) and add a Diemaco traded body and possibly a KAC rail system.
Having looked into it G&P do two receivers type A and type B. The only difference I can see is the length of the stub coming off the rear of the receiver where the stock tube would attach to so I was wondering what difference that makes to an AEG?
I'll try and post some pics shortly in case that helps.
I'm looking at using a solid stock if that makes any difference, also is anyone aware of anyone making the KAC rails in the M16 length which I assume would be around 12".
Many Thanks.

Re: Which receiver is the right receiver?
The only real difference is that the shorter stock tube mounting nubbins allows for longer stock tube batteries, the fitting for the stock tube should be the same with either of the lower receivers.
