Motor stuck in M4

Right, I'm having a brain fart moment and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong so please help.

The problem that I'm having is that I can't get a motor out of a M4 Style gun. It's so badly stuck in there that I have ripped off the motor bell. I've had this problem a few times now but never this bad.

Can someone please help me, tell me how to get it out and make sure I don't have this problem again.

Ouch.. Were the wires both tucked to the far right of the pistol grips during motor installation? I have done this before because I wired it badly, pull it out with a pair of pliers. Pulling at the strong points, I've had this happen before.
