  • ICS M4 no air seal between the nozzle and cylinder head.

SO as above i checked that the piston and cyclinder head have a good air seal and they do but the second i put the nozzle on for testing i have 0 compression. The nozzle has no cracks either. Currently getting 270FPS on a stock gun that should be atleast 350 with M100 spring. Any help would be great

Buy a new air nozzle. One with an inner o-ring.

I have lots od ICS M4's and most things are interchangeable, however, I always use stock hop unit, stock air nozzle and stock tappet plate. For some reason if you change the air nozzle to an aftermarket one they may or may not work correctly. I don't know why but its probably the manufacturing tolerances. get an ICS M4 nozzle and that should work.
I know what i said because i was standing here when i said it.

Had the same problem. In the end sorted it by filing the tappet plate at where it rests against the sector gear at its forward position. I found this was holding the nozzle to far back. By filing the bottom part of the tappet plate it, started to rest against the front of the gearbox, not the sector gear. Use a stock nozzle though
