Help with barrel/integrated supressor
30 March, 2014, 16:49
Hi all
Firstly apologies if I get the terminology wrong - I'm fairly new to this
I have a g&g gr16 cqw rush and was hoping to add or change the outer barrel to an integrated supressor - so only the suppressor extends out of the rail
I have a supressor that unscrews both ends and I thought would be able to take off one end, place over the barrel and would work this way.
Unfortunately it doesn't fit because of how the outer barrel connects to the inside of rail
So question is - is there an easy way to get this look - do I need a special suppressor or will I need to change the barrel or whole end of gun???
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Re: Help with barrel/integrated supressor
You need to buy a short m4 'pistol' type barrel if you want to get this look without any major custom work.

Re: Help with barrel/integrated supressor
I'd suggest removing that pic mate due to the retailer watermark.
As for the supressor, you'll need to make sure the ris you have will fit any silencers out there. It'll need to be a slim silencer, perhaps something designed for a pistol.

Retailer watermark? I though it was alright to post products providing they are from zeroone? I'll remove it anyway

It looked like the picture had an Asian retailer watermark. If the watermark was that of zero one then I do apologise and you were indeed in the right!

Look at a Spike rail... Any suppressor goes in that bad boy.

Re: Help with barrel/integrated supressor
For the money, you might as well buy one of these (when in stock):

By the time you've bought a 'decent' rail, and new outer barrel, you are not far off the cost of above, - at least you'll have a spare gun and your suppressor should fit if you want to extend your inner barrel for some reason.

I built this a while back. Been looking to do it for ages ended up getting a tiny outer from the states and a rail off a mate.
My biggest fear is that if I die, my mrs will sell of my airsoft kit for what I told her I paid!
WANTED:- WE Hicapa and 1911 parts. PM me if you have anything to offer.
