Can you put an ICS split gear box in a non ICS upper and lower receiver?

As the title says, got two ICS split gear boxes and wondered if you can put one in to a non ICS upper and lower receiver?

Almost certain you can't, not tried it personally but almost sure you can't. Personally I wouldn't want to either, but thats just me!

always wondered if u could mod a PTW body to take the ICS gearbox. be a lot of effort though. Think there is a normal V2 after market gearbox that is split if you just like the ease of it
