G&P M4 Baby Monster - Flash Hider Removal
8 May, 2014, 13:37
Hi Guys
Just a quick question hopefully.
I want to throw a Noveske onto my M4 Baby so have removed the main part of the flash hider no problem.
The actual flash hider sits on a second layer I am not sure how to remove. Can't see another Allen Bolt to remove so I assume it is a simple 14m ccw threading. Only problem being that its stiff as anything.
Anyone know if I am correct and just need to put some more force/heat into it?

Thanks in advance

A quick google search indicates it's a 14mm CW thread.

Cheers Side
Most G&Ps are CW, not seen this type of flash hider before so was wondering if it was something different.
It does mean I will have to get an adapter though. Ah well.

If you mean you want the 'sound hog' type you can get ones with a CW thread.

Already have a couple of soundhogs. Will be cheaper to buy the adapter than buying a brand new one with the cw threading.

d Decided to remove the ris Rail and discovered that its all a free float Barrel setup. So no threading at all! Will have to get a standard ris rail to fit the Noveske on, Otherwise I'm going to have a very bent 6.02 barrel when I next knock it against a tree.
