Quick help - cylinder direction?

Hi guys in middle of sorting gun for tomorrow after air seal was bust, I picked up a lonex cylinder for 100-240mm barrels if I remember so on the packet it says mp5k.. That's fine I have a pdw so about the same barrel length.

My question is, the cylinder has 4 ports each about 15mm long, should this go to the front of the gearbox or back?! Thanks
