New motor for G&G L85
26 June, 2014, 00:24
Hey,
The rate of fire on my G&G L85 is slightly balls to say the least (was using 9.6v but now running 7.4 lipo, below average ROF on both) - can anyone recommend a reliable, high speed motor that'll help it shoot a bit faster?
Also, i'm not sure why G&G decided to release a £310 gun knowing full well that the semi automatic function wouldn't work - anyone got a (permanent) fix for this?
First question more important
Thanks
Ross

Re: New motor for G&G L85
You'll want a high torque motor, not high speed.
There is no permanent solution to the lockup issue, but a high torque motor, 11.1v Lipo and disabling the blowback help considerably.

Cheers rampage - any particular brand of high torque motor you'd recommend?
The blowback is already disabled coz I'm a lefty - would I need to reinforce any parts to run 11.1's?
Cheers
