Which cylinder for 275mm wide bore barrel?
15 July, 2014, 21:24
Hi Guys,
I have a prommy delta strike 6.20 barrel in 275mm length to fit to my VFC 416. My stock cylinder has one port towards the rear, I am thinking i may need to swap it out for an un-ported cylinder due to the air loss down the wide bore.
Does anybody have any experience with this to say whether i should go un-ported or stick with the stock?
I have tried searching google however i cant find any specific info on matching a cylinder to such a short wide bore barrel.
Many Thanks

Re: Which cylinder for 275mm wide bore barrel?
3/4 port cylinder are typically well balanced for efficiency with stock bore diameter 275/285mm inner barrels and .25g and below. If you are at all concerned, you could up stage to 4/5 port (marui matched to 363mm @ 6.08mm).
