Deans connectors
13 August, 2014, 17:29
Ok,
First off I have googled and used the "in house" search function, so, prior to going ahead and doing this mod to all my guns and btys, two questions,
Firstly, the horizontal pin of both male / female connectors is the + (red) and the vertical pin is - (black) yes?
Secondly, which connector goes to the AEG and which to the bty? eg, male to gun, female on bty?

Re: Deans connectors
Female always goes on the battery.
That way, it's less easy to accidentally short it out.

Re: Deans connectors
Yep positive is the red wire or the top part of the "T" and negative is the black wire or the vertical part of the "T".
And female connector on the battery as said above, male on the gearbox/gun.

Re: Deans connectors
Main reason I went deans, I noticed arcing through my mini tamiyas (I only and will only ever use 9.6v NiMhs so imagine a lipo). Good choice, and I hope you enjoy the extra RPS you will inevitably get.
