Battery space in A&K M249

Does anyone know what sort of size space there is for batterys in the a&k 249 for a lipo. Looking at getting one by the weekender but would have to order battery at same time. Need to know how much space there is so I can get the largest possible in time.

Not a huge amount of space for mini nimcad batteries 9.6v, 8.4v mini 1600mah batteries fit well in them, any lipo that is not as long as the 8.4v mini battery should fit.
