Gearbox issues
27 November, 2014, 22:14
Basically I am a new player and my second AEG turned up today (combat machine M4) and in my excitement to change the spring in my gearbox it catapulted everywhere. I managed to get everything back in in the right place but I can't close the gearbox back up. Specifically the bottom end. Any advice?

Re: Gearbox issues
The bottom end and trigger area are normally the buggers!
The AR latch pushing against the bevel gear can throw them out of alignment. I have a pair of fine nosed tweezers I use to poke through the gap and realign stuff. A little pressure on the shell will hold the AR latch in alignment while you realign the bevel gear.
The post on the trigger is another point of issue. Again, the strong spring on the trigger can misalign this post. A little wiggle and it normally pops into place.

Re: Gearbox issues
That would make sense actually, will try when I get home and tell you if it works. Many thanks in advance.
