G&G m14 wont fire

I have just bought a secound hand g&g m14, and it was working fine on semi, and i was told that it had been restricted to semi automatic only, but i was fiddling with the buttons and put on full automatic by mistake.
Now it wont fire at all, what happens is, it will try and fire and you can hear this, but it will stop half way, almost as if the battery is very low about to die, but it is a full battery. Any help would be much appreciated thanks

ok to try and clear it up alittle,

you brought a M14 knowing been locked to semi for sniping purposes etc,

but you flicked to to full auto , and now it only turns over half a cycle then dies ?????

seems like either killed the motor or it a gb problem

Okay thanks for the feedback, is this something my local airsoft shop could fix easily?

Or perhaps your battery is knackered, get a friends one to test.

Maybe the motor doesn't have enough torque to pull back the spring too.

Or the gears are not the right ones for the job.

I doubt it's anything apart from one of those three things.
