How do you remove the trigger guard on a 417?
One side is spring loaded, drops down no problem. The OTHER side however.
Tried to drift it out with zero success. Worried i might snap the mounting tags off.

Hello mate, the pin closest to the mag well is a spring loaded one as you know, the one closest to the pistol grip is usually a split pin and need to be "tapped" out using a rubber mallet and a drift punch. Its usually the same diameter either side and isn't tapered so can be encouraged from either side of the weapon. Your replacement trigger guard may, instead of a spring pin for the front, may have installed a small grub screw which is installed through the hole when the guard is in place
