I've just bought a new dboys metal body for my cyma ak74 but have just found out that its a different barrel mounting, has anyone come across this before and if so how did you get around it?

i think the newer cymas are based of the vfc style bodies if that helps?

Dboys are the vfr copy, youll find the hop unit has a different mounting bracket. I run a CYMA box in my dboys '74 and from experience with various other butchered GB's youll need to scavange parts. Youll need both the hop mount and a spacer between the hop and rear sight block. The official bit can be found with a bit of difficulty, but an easier solution is to simply use a 4x2 lego brick. The reason the spacer is needed is because the hop mount simply slides on rather than being screwed in place
