m4 not working any suggestions?

Hi guys just a quick one for all you aeg wizzards out there ive got a classic army m4 sportline and its not working, basically the motor works fine but is making a hell of a noise and i think isnt engaging the gears?? ive adjusted the base plate screw all the way up and down and it will fire but not for long
any help or suggestions please!! thanks deadeye

take motor out and check the pinion gear if its worn it will be skipping of the teeth of the spur gear , if the are ok just slowly adjust the motor height adjustment screw if still not working you may have gearbox problems when was it last serviced

serviced??lol i got this off this forum a while ago and upgraded the gearbox with my own and binned the one that was in it,ill have a look at the motor and check what you suggested thanks bud...

just checked the pinion gear and its a little on the worn side, just chucked a bigger batt in and its now working lol guess i need a new one at some point, thanks for your help
