Quick spring change gearboxes

Evening chaps,

Looking at a couple of Ares guns. They both come with quick change springs. I'm guessing you can just use standard springs? They don't have to be specific ones? Want to downgrade them to m100's, so they're actually under 350fps. Any help appreciated!

standard springs, although depending on your set up, it wont necessarily put you under 350

Yes, they take the same springs as other AEGs.

Apart from making it quicker and easier to change the spring, quick change boxes are much easier to disassemble and reassemble.

Sweet, cheers guys I'll just have to try my luck with the m100's and report back! Its a stock set up, more for speed than torque. So it should be okay!
