G&P feed cover for mk46 will fit a CA m249?

any know if the G&P feed cover for mk46 will fit a CA m249? or will it be needed to be modded

I can't see why not. TOP parts will fit a G&P, and Classic army is a clone of TOP.

It will fit...but you will need to modify the G&P top cover, the fittings are different inside but nothing a quick hacksaw won't fix. The G&P version has a bar that runs across the inside supporting the locking buttons, that needs to be cut away to accommodate the CA gearbox.

Absolute worst case you might need to modify the hinge block if you find there is a gap between the main receiver and feed tray once fitted but this is very unlikely unless your mixing and matching other parts.
