motor height adjustment.
15 April, 2009, 21:03
Can someone give me some advice regarding the motor height adjustment?
I have herd that over tightening it can cause problems ñ can it actually cause damage to the gear box?
And how do you know when it is adjusted right?
Thanks.

Re: motor height adjustment.
If it's too far in, it'll grind and ROF will drop.
If it's too far out, it'll whine shrilly.
As to damage, a badly set motor will strip gears, and cause resistance, which can damage motor and wiring.
