  • Gearbox casing

    Hi everyone,

Im looking to get a new gearbox case now and having some trouble choosing.

    Been looking at the following:

    .Modify Torus 7mm reinforced gearbox

.Ultimate Gearbox Case V2 with Bearings

.Systema Metal Gearbox Case for M16A1 & MP5

    .G&P 7MM BEARING GEARBOX

    .VERSION 2 GEARBOX MP5 / G3 6MM HURRICANE

    .Guarder Enhanced Gearbox Ver. II

So any personal experiance with any of these or if you know which is of the best qaulity/performance/strengh

    Re: Gearbox casing

what is it for? mp5 and m4 have a slighty different style of V2 casing (think the m4 ones have a bit sticking out somewhere that doesnt fit an mp5, and vice versa)

        Re: Gearbox casing

The Modifiy GB is the only one that has reinforcements in the structurally relevant area.

I run a systema 1J one in my ics one, and it ran flawlessly for about a year until the bevel gear stripped (think I was running it too high speed or something silly) so I can reccommend that, as a gear a year isn't too much modification in a gearbox, and getting a systema one means you can get it preassembeled, so little chance of accidentally putting something together wrong
