G&G Socom M14 double feeding

Hi all,

I have recently picked up a G&G Socom M14 and it seems to be double feeding. I have 3 high caps and am shooting .25's. The first round out the gun is a perfect single round shot but from then on its always double feeding 2 rounds. This happens on semi and full.

I have done some Googleing (limit of my skill) and people are saying to try a lighter weight BB or get a new hop. Anyone seen/heard of this before and know of the issue and a fix?

Your hop-up rubber is worn and needs replacing

Bump. Replaced hop and rubber and still getting this issue. It seems like there is nothing stopping the BB's. I can fire the first round perfectly then its 2/3 per trigger pull. If I tilf the gun down wards after, another BB roll sour. Anyone able to help?

Have you checked your nozzle is going all the way back and forward properly to load the next bb? Could be a tappet plate nozzle issue.
