Vfc hk417 trigger problem
21 November, 2015, 17:29
I seem to have a problem with my trigger, I have to pull it right back to make the gun work and sometimes doesn't shoot at all and some times I have to hold it pulled back to make it shoot.

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Burnt/worn trigger contacts seems to be common on that gun

Bugger. Can they be cleaned or is it a replacement needed?

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Maybe able to clean them up but box has to come apart so while there I would replace them for £ to work ratio!
Trouble is you need to strip gearbox to see

Shouldn't be worn then? Unless your using 11.1 lipo? With no MOSFET.

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Its over a year old but I don't get to play much so it's only seen 4 or 5 game days, my site is single shot too so it's had alot of trigger pulling.

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Sounds like you may have to strip it then,
maybe someone else along with more thoughts on the issue.
Good luck

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
They do have quite a reputation for trigger contact issues and semi-auto does burn through contacts rather more quickly. A high discharge 7.4v lipo can cause serious arcing problems, leading to the trigger contacts burning out.
Open it up and have a look at the trigger contacts; alternatively, take it to your friendly local airsoft tech.

Oh yes; they will either be very dirty or somewhat non-existent!
