G&G SOC 16 gearbox

Hi,

I heard this wasn't a version 7 but a custom G&G mech box. Does anyone know before I take it apart what I need and what I am looking at? I'm assuming the teeth on the piston has gone or the pinion has ground down, but I'm looking for a full tuneup kit anyway - just don't want to get the wrong parts.

I've just stripped the SOC 16 and the back of the piston has snapped clean off. I'm looking for a new piston, but I can't find any v7 specific parts or sets, does anyone know if v7 is compatible with any other versions?

Fixed it today, went and got a Systema v2 / v3 polycarb piston, worked a treat

Actually looks like the gears are the same too, just in a different location, the only oddity is the anti-reversal latch.

Put a new systema hop up in and nub too while I was there and regreased and lubed her up! Firing sweet as a nut now

Was actually very impressed by the gear set in there though, they are very, very chunky tough steel gears.
