putting lipos inside daniel defence mk18 9.5 rail?

hey guys,

i have just purchased a mk18 9.5 madbulll rail for my pts rm4 cqb and was told i could stick lipo crane stock batteries inside? i have seen one picture all but a crappy one... has anyone done this and recommend a battery.. im currently looking at a 120 L x 20 w x 5.5 d.

id rather pop the bottom of to change a battery than a peq box

any advice on the matter would be great

I've done this, it's a challenge. I had to remove a large amount of material from the bottom half of the rail, there's overlap inside that gives you about 5mm gap between the barrel and the rail which just isn't enough space to fit a LiPo in so I removed the metal that overlaps and I can now fit a WE 1450mAh 7.4V LiPo in with one cell either side of the barrel.

It's still a squeeze though!

You could always cheat and use a WE "slim" outer barrel found one the front wired m4 aegs (should be plenty about now as parts )
