    A decent 7.4v LiPO will usually deliver similar results to a good 9.6v NIMH Pack. So that sounds about right.

      you should only need to remove half of the second tooth. Any more than that and the pistons is simply not returning fast enough. which is a separate issue. If you only do half of the second you can use the others around it to watch for signs of wear.

      I still treat lipos just like ordinary batterys, i woudnt change a single thing on a stock tm for a 7.4v lipo.
