Ics l86a2 lsw trigger problems.

I am picking up a ics l86 on Sunday from a friend who is quitting.
He has informed me there are problems with the trigger, but doesn't know the cause as he is not the most experienced player.
At £50 for the gun, it was fairly hard to pass up.

So I was wondering what the initial things to check would be?
I have contemplated just ordering a complete new set of trigger spares. But thought I would ask here first for people's thoughts.

Drop it to your tech, it could just be contacts.

I got my ics l86 today. Paid £50. Got it with an acog sight, 8 genuine magpul mags and a bunch of high caps.
Stripped it down. Already found the problem.
The trigger contacts in the upper receiver are sticking. So when the gun is cycling in semi, instead of one 'springing back' it's sticking with the spring compressed.
New trigger contact set will be a nice cheap fix.
