advice on cheek riser for SRC stock
21 July, 2016, 22:36
As in title, I have a SRC stock on my G36 dmr, and I need some sort of a cheek riser/rest, I have looked at the ones that you can Velcro around the stock...and am struggling to find anything else. If anyone knows of another riser/rest I can attach or give some info on the Velcro type riser it would be awesome!
Even tips on a home made effort would be fine. all advice welcome.

Re: advice on cheek riser for SRC stock
i have just made and fitted a cheek riser to my g36. i know the stock is different but the process should work for you too.

i just wanted to make something a little higher and more comfortable. i used a shotgun comb and then cast in a core of resi with a pair of m6 threaded inserts set in to it, so it could be bolted to the stock. if your stock isn't skeletal like mine fitting might be a little harder but shouldn't be too much of a problem. if its solid you could always tap it and then run the bolts counter sunk through the top of the riser.
